After more than three years of closure following a devastating fire, Saint Patrick Church in Hubbard is on the verge of reopening, according to Father Michael Swierz.

Saint Patrick’s Day is approaching, and the timing couldn’t be better for the congregation as they eagerly anticipate the revival of their beloved church.

Father Swierz informed 21 News that the church, which faced challenges such as shipping delays for handrails and brackets, as well as damaged doors, has successfully addressed all these issues. A recent Facebook post from the church announced the completion of repairs to the church’s organ.

Despite the progress, Father Swierz mentioned that the church is still awaiting the arrival of some glass for the handrails, the completion of elevator repairs, and a final inspection before officially reopening on Saint Patrick’s Day.

Expressing his joy at being back, Father Swierz conveyed the excitement shared by him and the parishioners, not only for the resumption of masses but also for other events that will soon take place in the church hall.
